Every skill installs the same way. Learn it once and you can add as many as you want.
- Go to the GitHub repo. Head to github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills. You don’t need a GitHub account. Just open the link.
- Pick a skill and open the folder. Find the skill you want (like “page-cro” or “email-sequence”) and click on it. Inside the folder, click the ‘SKILL.md’ file. That’s the actual file Claude reads.
- Download the raw file. Near the top right of the file, you’ll see a download icon. Click it. This saves the SKILL.md file to your computer.
- Upload it to Claude. Open Claude. In the left sidebar, click Customize → Skills → the ‘+‘ button → Upload a Skill. Drag your downloaded file in. That’s it. Claude will automatically use the skill whenever it’s relevant.
FYI: You can install in bulk! Download all the skill files you want FIRST, then drag them all into Claude at once. You can have all 36 installed in about 10-15 minutes.
Tell Claude about your business before you do anything else. This is the one most people skip… and it makes a MASSIVE difference in the quality of results you get.
Before using any skill, take 2 minutes and tell Claude what you sell, who your customers are, what makes you different, and what your goals are. From that point on, every skill output gets personalized to YOUR business instead of giving you generic advice.
There’s even a dedicated skill for this called “product-marketing-context.” You can install that one first and fill it out. It’s the foundation everything else builds on.
